This chapter covered what I used to think to be a relatively tricky task, selecting individual objects from an image. This turns out to be quite a simple thing to do with the right tools for each job. This was the first time I used the magnetic lasso tool and it blew my mind. If only I had known this tool existed and how to use it before. Some of my selections were a bit rough around the edges admittedly however this was only to learn how to use each tool and if I ever needed to use them in a real situation I feel I could do the task with much greater precision.
