Today I visited the Centenary Club to take some pictures of where I planned to place my avatar. This was to allow me to gain a perspective of the scale of items I may place in my scene so that when it comes to designing my character and objects in the scene I can get the scale correct without having to scale things up and down which may cause issues.
I aimed to take photos that would include furniture and the background such as chairs and tables against the wall. I also took a photo of a beer bottle so that I could get a sense of the detail required to get across that it was a bottle without using too many polygons.
Edit: I have realised that I do not have any photos with a person to scale against the scene yet so I will have to re-visit the centenary club and take a few more photos with myself against the scene.
